Our history

The houses of the Carreras were declared a historical monument in 1974. The decision was based on the historical importance of those who originally inhabited them, as well as their architectural characteristics and their antiquity, built in the mid-eighteenth century.

25 years ago, Francisco Correa Salas, farmer, rancher, and above all a lover of the land, decided to return to the family tradition that for generations was the hallmark of his ancestors; produce wines Man of arms to take, Don Paco, as he was affectionately called by the people of the countryside, built a large-capacity winery and planted various vines on the slopes of the El Monte hills. Over time, and after great efforts, Viña Doña Javiera, has managed to make itself known for its wines, which are nothing more than the expression of the dreams of its founder.
